Digital technology is changing our world, quickly and irreversibly. Traditional marketing—including banking and utilities—are under threat.
Constantly connected customers want everything, anytime and anywhere. Digitisation can fundamentally improve customer experience. Customers need to seamlessly switch channels throughout any engagement process—including traditional channels. It needs to be all joined up.
For product design, it means rapid improvement, full integration between hardware and software, and (gasp) constant engagement with the customer.
Manager need to integrate digital talent throughout their organisations. That’s a big job for CEOs. Younger employees are already digital natives.
